A Need For Gum Regeneration For Severe Gum Disease

Gum disease is an infection of the gums, and the infection can spread even below the gum line which are the tissues and bones that supports the teeth. The bacteria in gum disease can enter your bloodstream through damaged blood vessels than run through the gums which can increase the toxin load in your bloodstream which increases your risk of: stroke stomach ulcers lung disease pneumonia low birth weight babies & increase in premature delivery heart attacks high blood sugar levels and uncontrolled diabetes.

Gum disease is not difficult to treat, however gum regeneration may be needed for severe cases.The procedure is being done by a dentist and it encourages the regrowth of the gums and protection of the teeth.

Gum regeneartion can be avoided if receding gums itself is prevented. Early prevention of receding gums is far more better than having gum regeneration.Brushing and flossing every day, eating a balanced diet and scheduling regular checkups with your dentist are essential to keeping periodontal disease at bay.
